Therapeutic Center Protocols

For Medco Health Solutions we led the architecture, and development of a leading edge pharmacist advice system using expert system technology to efficiently manage drug therapies. Significant cost savings were achieved by leveraging a combined onshore/offshore development team. The onshore team worked closely with the business analysts and business line managers performing system architecture and high level designs that were implemented and unit tested by the offshore team.

Core IT Solutions
www.coreconsultant.com Website

For Core IT, we developed their www.coreconsultant.com corporate website. This Stargazer site lets recruiters upload job specs, news articles, and manage site content. The site also allows job seekers to apply on line, register for email notification of job opportunities, and forward job descriptions to a friend (or their personal email address from work) . Since implementing Stargazer Core IT solutions has had a large increase in direct, applications to posted jobs. Integration with Google Analytics allows Core IT to see which partners and recruiting hubs are driving traffic to the site.
 

Altinity
Opsview Reports

For Altinity we developed the Opsview Reports features of their Enterprise Data Center Management Software. Opsview reports use the Jasper Reports and JFreeChart open source libraries to combine charts and tables in a PDF report. Opsview Reports  connects to a MySQL database and prepares daily availability reports allowing system managers to detect trends in unscheduled down time.

Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield 
Online Benefits Management System (OBIS)

Empire BlueCross BlueShield, with over 7 million members, receives thousands of calls a week from members inquiring about their benefit coverage. Each time they do, an Empire Customer Service Representative uses the Online Benefits Management System to determine the details of insurance coverage and usage. We performed requirements analysis, project management, application architecture and development team lead on this project which uses J2EE technologies to expose mainframe based data though a rich web based interface. We directly managed a team of 10 developers and took this project from specification to production in less that 6 months.

Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield 
Member Portal

Empire's member portal provides, demographic, claim, and physician information to Empire's millions of members. We acted as lead architect for the User Interface Subsystem and contributed to the development of the Empire MVC Application Framework which was eventually sold to IBM. We also provided team leadership in running the 40+ developer team that contributed to this project.
